Proceedings and NorDiNa Special issue 


After the NFSUN-symposium presenters are invited to publish in the NFSUN 2021 e-Proceedings. The e-proceedings will be edited by the NFSUN-2021 organizing committee, under the book-title of the conference theme Science Education in the light of Global Sustainable Development – Trends and possibilities. It will be published with an ISBN number and with VIA University College, Aarhus, DK as the publisher.

The template for the e-proceedings is here.

Manuscripts for the NFSUN proceedings should be maximum 3000 words (including references, tables and figures, but excluding abstract). Be aware that the authors are responsible for following strictly the deadline and the guidelines in the template, and if not the contributions will not be included.

Deadline: August 15th, 2021.

Expected publication: October 2021.

NorDiNa-speciel issue 

A selection of contributions will be invited to extend their contribution (5000-8000 words) for publication in a special issue the journal NorDiNa (Nordic Studies in Science Education)


The papers are selected based on the criteria of scientific quality, relevance according to the conference theme, and variation across strands. The authors will be contacted by the guest editors of the special issue Birgitte Lund Nielsen and Martin Sillasen after the proceedings deadline.

The deadline for the NorDiNa special issue will be December 15th, 2021, revisions after review will be due in March 2022, and we plan the publication in May 2022.
